I am trying to clone a 1GB HDD to a 1GB Samsung 850 EVO SATA III SSD on a desktop system running Windows 10 and the progress gets stuck at 0%."

Ich hoffe, dass ich hier jemanden finden kann, der genug Fachwissen mit sich bringt! Problem ist: Ich möchte meine alte SSD auf meine neue Samsung 850 Pro klonen, also auch mein Betriebssystem Windows 10. Die Migrationssoftware "Clonix" von Samsung läuft durch bis 99%, dann kommt folgende Fehlermeldung: "Bei der Anpassung der Patritionsgröße ist ein Fehler aufgetreten".

Festplatten sind mein absoluter Schwachpunkt was PCs betrifft, aber da das Klonen bei Samsung SSDs ja angeblich so einfach sein soll, hab ich mich mal selbst rangewagt. Und siehe da: Ich kriegs einfach nicht hin.

In der Computerverwaltung läuft wohl irgendwas nicht rund. Die alte SSD ist Datenträger 0, die Samsung ist Datenträger 1 ("Nicht initialisiert"). Ich hoffe, dass ich mir nicht extra einen Account bei einem PC-Forum machen muss, sondern das Problem heute noch lösen kann.

Wenn die neue Samsung leer ist und Datenträger 1 ("Nicht initialisiert") zugleich ist muss du mit der rechten Maustaste auf diesen Datenträger klicken dann öffnet sich ein Menüdort musst du erstmals auf Datenträgerinitallisierung klicken dadurch wird die Festplatte Formatiert und eingrichtet.

Mit Acronis geht das. Habe es schon mehrfach getan. Kostet allerdings auch Geld.
Acronis ist auch das am besten geeignete Programm für derartige Fälle. Darüber hinaus lässt sich damit noch sehr viel mehr bewerkstelligen.

Du kannst es allerdings auch mit Paragon versuchen. Dabei brauchst du allerdings etwas Hintergrundwissen. Und das kostet auch Geld.

Alle anderen hier aufgeführten Programme sind nicht 100%-tig geeignet, da sie mitunter Fehler produzieren.

Versuche doch mal ein anderes Programm zum Klonen, z.B. Clonezilla. Könnte mir vorstellen, dass das Samsung Tool nicht ganz ausgereift ist?! Clonezilla gibts dagegen schon lange. Ansonsten hilft vielleicht auch eine Boot-CD oder ein Bootstick, aber dazu würde ich erst im nächsten Schritt raten.

Der Status "nicht initialisiert" ist bei neuen Festplatten normal.

99% ?

Ist auf der "alten" SSD eine versteckte Recovery Partition vorhanden? Ich habe mal irgendwo gelesen, dass die Samsung Migrationssoftware nur "sichtbare" Partitionen schafft und auch nur, wenn das Ziel mindestens genauso groß ist wie die Quelle oder größer als diese.
