Why was uncle grandpa hated

  • This show is by far the most random show ever I have ever seen, with it's ultimate weirdness and bizarre randomness you can't take the show seriously, but it is surprisingly good to watch. The stories and morals don't make any sense, but that's what the show is. It's basically a random mess, and that's what the show is suppose to be. Unlike shows like "Pickle & Peanut", this is intentionally random and ridiculous. This is the Marmite of cartoons, you either love it or hate it, and I love it. You can't help, but want an Uncle or Grandpa like Uncle Grandpa.

Unlike Pickle & Peanut and Breadwinners, the stock footage and photo shop pictures are necessary.

  • I am one of the people who actually like Uncle Grandpa and don't think it deserves so low score. I like the style of animation. The humor is also great. I like how the show is really strange and how the fourth wall is broken sometimes. The show is about the grandpa and uncle of all children Uncle Grandpa, who lives in his strange RV with his friends Mr. Gus, Pizza Steve, Belly Bag and Giant Realistic Flying Tiger. In the episodes he is helping children with their problems or he is doing something with his friends. I can't give a 10 star rating because I don't like some episodes like Belly Bros. Well, from 2 to 6 I'm giving Uncle Grandpa VERY GOOD 5 and also I hope it will get a better score in IMDb. Also I liked the crossover with Steven Universe.

  • Hey Guys RegularShow1 here and today I'm reviewing a show that been on Cartoon Network for almost 2 years called "Uncle Grandpa". This show is OK I known a lot of people hate this show because it weird . The show is also created by Pete Browngardt who also created "Secret Mountain Fort Awesome". The show is about a magical man named "Uncle Grandpa" who is everybody's Uncle and Grandpa. The other characters are "Pizza Steve" who is a talking pizza slice. Then their "Mr. Gus" who is a fire breathing green dinosaur who is the voice of reason. The show premiered on Monday, September 2,2013. Anyway I think "Uncle Grandpa" is OK show but it's not as good "Adventure Time" and "Regular Show" but it's better then "The Problem Solverz" which that show sucks. Anyway I'm giving "Uncle Grandpa" a 8 out 10 Stars. Anyway guys I'm RegularShow1 and have a Nice Day. BYE.

  • Uncle Grandpa takes a bit to get used to, but if Salvador Dali made a cartoon it would look like this. I think the comments on the show are almost as funny as the show, because it appears people are looking for something more linear and structured, and guess what? This isn't that sort of show, it's just a free for all. And poor Mr Gus, and egotistical Pizza Steve, and Giant Realistic Flying Tiger - all great characters, all great fun.You actually don't know what to expect - like the episode where UG becomes the tire of his RV, or when Mr. Gus saves the crew because of his ridiculous pair of "jorts". Long live Uncle Grandpa, the trippiest show out there.

  • I understand how so many people find Uncle Grandpa hard to watch or find it too trippy and hallucinogenic to stomach. But if you know the history of animation and enjoy surrealism, Uncle Grandpa is a BLAST!Golden Age animator Tex Avery once said, "If you can do it in real life, it isn't animation." Uncle Grandpa embraces that philosophy and runs with it. Every animation gimmick you've ever seen appears at one time or another. Stuff out of the frame (including body parts) cease to exist, perspective gags galore, selective gravity, photo cut-outs, sight gags, visual puns, internet memes, breaking the 4th wall... Don't even try to keep a list, there are too many.

My only complaint about Uncle Grandpa is that sometimes it's a little too NORMAL. I can get normalcy any day without turning on the TV.

  • I really love Uncle Grandpa, because the humor are so weird it's hilarious!! Like Uncle Grandpa giving the creature on "Space Emperor" a spanking, and the guards being impressed. The "Funny Face" episode is funny, because Uncle Grandpa made a realistic face and he takes it off and said "Was it funny?" He took a look and then "Good morni----*POP*" He laughs!!! I also love that part when Giant Realistic Flying Tiger kept laughing and her fur came off, and Uncle Grandpa and Belly Bag's conversation on the phone like Belly Bag: "What's cooking, good looking?" Uncle Grandpa: "a TELEPHONE"The funny face then came in and Uncle Grandpa laughs, and tries hard not to laugh, but proceed and explodes!!

I don't quite understand why Uncle Grandpa is getting a lot of hate, it's their opinion anyway. I highly/strongly recommend this show to anyone who loves weirdness.

  • Uncle Grandpa is a weird, but enjoyable show. It's not perfect by any means, and it has flaws (overly stupid at times, Uncle Grandpa's weird name implying things, Pizza Steve too jerky at times, etcetera), but I think the show is genuinely funny. I'm used to silly humor, and most of the humor in the show is harmless. Uncle Grandpa has a weird voice, but he's good hearted, so I can let it slide. Pizza Steve can be funny, and is even able to show a little depth now and then. Belly Bag doesn't leave much of an impression, but he's pretty helpful. Mr. Gus is like the Squidward of the show, essentially a straight man to the zaniness, and he's really fun. I feel a SpongeBob vibe in this show, but that may be due to Casey Alexander's influence. This show probably won't be in my favorite cartoons of the 2010s, but its good elements significantly outweigh the bad, in my opinion.

    Grade: 9/10= A-

  • I found this show on Netflix and shared it with my kid. She loves it and, quite frankly, I love it too. To me, it's like a bridge between Spongebob Squarepants and my favorite childhood cartoons, Ren & Stimpy and Rocko's Modern Life. Those latter shows always had a strange way about them, a sort of stream-of-consciousness approach that often made plot irrelevant. But it didn't matter; you came to see ridiculousness, bizzaro high jinks and fun characters. Save the coherent plot for those broad-loving stiffs on network television. (Big Bang Theory anyone?)

Well, Uncle Grandpa follows that tradition (that is, Ren & Stimpy and Rocko, not Big Bang Theory). It's weird in spades. Don't worry about story; that's not the point! I'm not sure why this thing is getting barely north of four stars, but all I can think is that this new generation is, largely, dead inside.

  • Many reviews say that the show is dumb, or stupid. I say yea.....and its amazing!!! Uncle grandpa is just a silly fun show that completes the 1 and only rule for comedy and that's the ability to make you laugh. The fact that its stupid is why it's so funny. I haven't laughed this hard at a show since the first time I saw Axe Cop. The personalities of the different characters interacting with each other along with dumb silly illogical humor is comedy gold in my eyes. Give the show time and people will realize how great it is. I constantly hear people talking about the old cartoon network with ed ed and eddy and fosters home for imaginary friends along with other shows but they fail to realize that the humor in those shows are very similar to uncle grandpa. eating gravy from your pocket or blue with his paddle balls.... they're'e silly dumb shows too

  • I was lucky to get Cartoon Network as a kid and I loved Dexter's Lab, Johnny Bravo, Cow & Chicken and I Am Weasel. Uncle Grandpa is the next logical step in the evolution of silliness. I really love the whole concept of this show. It's the first show whose point is it's pointlessness. The gags are so incredibly bad that they're brilliant again. The characters have a great dynamic and the voice actors are really well-cast. The shows art is also very unique and artistic. While shows like "Adventure Time" try to tell a message and make people think, which annoys me quite a lot, Uncle Grandpa is all about fun and the celebration of stupidity. I hope this show continues for a long time and stay true to it's pointlessness.

  • I actually started watching Uncle Grandpa after hearing a lot of hate about it, and to be honest I watched it and was wondering "this isn't so bad, I like it. What's the problem with it?"At first i assumed it was maybe Uncle Grandpa's design, because i admit his design isn't exactly eye-pleasing. But it's unique and the creator(s) decided to think outside of the box, which is respectable. It's hard to find cartoon shows these days that REALLY try to make their own character, not make something stereotypical/generic just to please people. I personally dislike rip off characters, so i really appreciated the true effort they put into him. Also, after a while of watching the show his look really grew on me.Now that I've read some of these reviews, i realized it's basically people's preferences and nothing else. Joke wise, i'm biased because i honestly don't find most cartoon humor laughable. It's all been the same, if it's not an adult cartoon then the humor is basically puns, hidden adult jokes and a silly face or two that people like to screenshot and then post on social media. I didn't find Uncle Grandpa's humor any worse or different than the others I've seen. So i can't really comment on that. But as for animation, i don't understand why people hate it. It's some of the best modern cartoon animation I've seen! There are little mistakes, it's not glitchy or awkward, and it's pretty smooth. Honestly, the animation is better than most modern cartoons I've watched. Gravity falls and Steven universe for example, usually have somewhat cringy and blocky animation. Of course, i love those shows and i'm not dissing them but what i'm saying is that Uncle grandpa's animation is in comparison smoother and i'm confused as to why people dislike it??? It's hard to make smooth animation for every episode of an ongoing show, so those who do have my respect. As for characters, I again honestly really respect the fact they didn't try to create something like everyone else and just did their own thing. Pizza Steve might me just a slice of pizza with sunglasses on, but so what? I mean, it's not like they were lazy about it, they add more detail to Steve, like his slightly melted cheeze drops and they give him a good solid personality that makes up for the simplicity of his design. I'm a little upset that Mister Gus is literately ripped off Godzilla but i like his personalty as well. And his deep voice. And belly bag makes sense for Uncle Grandpa to have at least, how could we have uncle grandpa without a magical talking bag that can store stuff?? Giant Realistic Flying Tiger may be google images but that's unique to use in a show and i honestly think the facial expressions they use for a tiger are funny. Overall the characters seem to be fine, honesty i was more grossed out and disappointed by some adventure time characters than any ug one. Then again it's mostly preference, so i can't really judge either.Concerning the weirdness, i believe it's unique and i definitely didn't think of adventure time when i saw it. In my opinion, i think the two shows have a completely different style of weird. Adventure time is more lore based, and the weirdness is more serious and limited because of that. In Uncle Grandpa, anything can happen! It's a kind of weirdness that doesn't limit the makers and lets them make creative episodes to their liking. They don't have a specific world lore and it doesn't have rhyme or reason, and i like it. Again, i don't see shows like that very much and it's very refreshing to see something that isn't redundant to other creations.

I'm not sure what else you guys wrote but maybe it just takes someone with a little open mind to appreciate the show, my little sister liked it and i knew a teen who liked it a few years back, so it's probably just all preferences and opinions. For example, i'm not a big fan of adult cartoons but people my age LOVE that stuff, so i'm not to judge. So really, i suggest you check out an episode or two yourself instead of basing your opinions off of others.

  • When I saw this show on a commercial back in summer 2013, I had high hopes for it...when it was released, it was bad. BUT, the show has gotten much better. People shouldn't look for the bad episodes of a series, they should look for the good ones, and this show has a lot of both. I really didn't like Belly Bros. too much, but I really liked the internet troll episode. So, is the show perfect? Far from it.

Is it good or at least worth it? Absolutely. At least see some episodes of the show before you decide to base your opinion based off of all the hate the show gets.

  • I registered to this site solely to leave this review. It leaves me utterly stunned how such a gem in the recent tide of mediocrity gets so much hatred.I love the show uncle grandpa. In fact its difficult for me to understand how this show isn't given the due it deserves, its all about letting go and just have fun. I think a problem with some of the haters out there is they are too caught up in over-analyzing the show. I didn't think it was possible for people to be snobby about the cartoons they watch.Uncle Grandpa is about fun! If you grew up in the 90s like I did this show masterfully touches on so many familiar facets of nostalgia, even down to the color choice, art style and the music. I can tell the animators had just as much fun making it as I do watching it. It takes so many old familiar clichés and flips them on their head to most amusing results. It's about letting go. The stuff they deem trash such as tiger's poor animations shoots right over their heads but that was the point. Its MEANT to be bad, that's what makes it humorous! My only fault with uncle grandpa was the Christmas episode when they attempted to establish some back story with him and Santa. I didn't like that Santa was made out to be a petty lofty jerk or his insinuating uncle grandpa is stupid. Even if it is an opinion the fact that I can't tell if uncle grandpa is an idiot or a genius, that blurred line is just one of his many charms.

I watch this show everyday and i'm dying for many many more episodes they can't produce them fast enough. This show is legendary, genius in fact maybe ahead of its time. Why this show doesn't have cult status right now blows my mind.

  • If you are reading this with an open mind, I'm grateful that you've taken the time to read this. If you are reading this out of your hatred for this 'piece of crap' that has brought CN to 'a brand new low', I make no apologies for what you are about to read:I, like many, grew up with the likes of Ren & Stimpy, Cow and Chicken, et. al., grew deeply attached to the humor that was present in both, and consider them to be of a very high standard that few cartoons today can hold. That said, I genuinely believe with every wrinkle in my brain that Uncle Grandpa continues that pedigree fantastically well. There's definite love and consideration going into this production, each gag oozes a level of madcap energy that leaves me laughing like a cretin at best and gets me to sit in awe at the worst. True, cartoons like 'Adventure Time' and 'Regular Show' (the latter I love to death) have added a bit of sophistication to the cartoon, but the problem is that through their commitment to layering the strange with the normal, they become less like cartoons and more like generic, middle-of-the-road sitcoms (in my honest opinion). Mixing sobriety with silly is nice, but is it really to much to ask to see one show that completely tosses reality out the window with out any real-life to anchor it?And to those who claim that this show is trying too hard to be silly, I can only say that it isn't your fault exactly. The problem with programs such as AT and RS growing in popularity is that we are hit with a deluge of programs that resort to 'wacky', 'zany' humor for profit-sake. As a result, the line between a show with genuine strangeness and one that has a whiff of the boardroom is virtually invisible. Sanjay and Craig, for example, feels a bit synthetic with its homages to 'rad 80s culture' and surreal humor at times, not to mention the wealth of recent failed pilots out there that are clamoring to take the Finn and Jake/Mordecai and Rigby crown. I can assure you all that Uncle Grandpa is the LEAST of your irritations! The truth is, any media that is truly out there is guaranteed to get the backlash it receives, whether it's deserved or not. Think about how 'The Simpsons' written off as this wretched inversion of family values when it first arrived on TV, the only reason why is that the likes of 'The Cosby Show' and 'Family Ties' were still dominant with their perfect, sanitized depictions of family life. The world can only tolerate things that are 'outside the box' as long as it within a safe distance of it. The masses prefer a bit of familiarity tied to the unfamiliar, it's like a security blanket for them.

At least, that's what I assume when you bray on about how this show is 'the most repulsive display of incest I have ever seen'.

  • Uncle Grandpa is GREAT! If Cartoon Network cancels it then they are idiots. I don't know what all the hate is for. This show is based off of the Cartoonstitue short of the same name, and is better than Regular Show and Secret Mountain Fort Awesome (the latter I absolutely loved). So Uncle Grandpa is about Uncle Grandpa and his pals doing the silliest and funniest things. In one episode, this kid wanted a nickname, so Uncle Grandpa helped him get one by doing yard work, I wont spoil the ending for you, but his nickname is NOT what you'd expect. The show's art style is so different from what the average Cartoon Network show is. It's pretty good looking too. No Pixar or Disney, but still good. I recommend Uncle Grandpa. But if you're expecting another show like Adventure Time or Regular Show, you might be disappointed. Just go into it with an open mind. -Wes

  • To be honest, I was trying to avoid this show for a long time after hearing so many bad things about it. When I actually decided to watch it, I discovered that it was indeed a bad and stupid series, but surprisingly I didn't hate this as much as other reviewers. Please, don't get me wrong: I don't like this show. It is just that I think that is slightly (just slightly) less bad that as I was expecting. That being said, is easy to see why "Uncle Grandpa" gets so much hate: Most of the characters are dumb and annoying, their designs (except for one or two) are ugly and unappealing, the jokes feel forced (and aren't very funny)If anything, this cartoon seems like a cheap attempt to imitate other animated series like "Adventure Time" and "Regular Show", but it seems that the creators of "Uncle Grandpa" failed to realize one thing: "Adventure Time" and "Regular Show" are successful not for being "weird" or "random". They are successful for having fun and likable characters, interesting stories that despite containing several fantastic elements are still relatable with their audience. Those two shows are also able to handle a certain level of subtlety, something which "Uncle Grandpa" lacks completely, consisting of a mere succession of "wacky" stuff happening for no reason. And that is the biggest problem of "Uncle Grandpa": It seems more focused on being strange and atypical, rather than in being funny or at least interesting. Personally, I'm completely indifferent to this series, and I wouldn't mind if it is canceled from one moment to another (That seems its eventual fate anyway)

    1/10

  • This show is absolutely hilarious. It's bizarre, it's weird, it doesn't make any sense, it feels like someone's fever dream, and I love it.Some shows feel forced in their weirdness (ie Apple and Onion, Annoying Orange) but something about Uncle Grandpa is so endearing and there Is surprisingly a lot going on in this kids show.

The animation is honestly pretty ugly, but its oddly fitting. I would recommend this show for older kids and young adults

  • I really enjoy this show, the first episode, Belly Brothers. I didn't really enjoy so much. But, often, shows take a few episodes to get the feel of.This show revolves around 4 main characters who go around the world in an RV helping children that need help. The characters are, Uncle Grandpa, a weird man who is everyone's uncle and everyone's grandpa, Mr. Gus, a dinosaur who is always grumpy and is never happy, Pizza Steve, a pizza who is full of himself and is similar to Johnny Bravo and Giant Realistic Flying Tiger, a tween tiger who farts rainbows.I enjoyed all 26 episodes of season 1 and I was excited to hear that there will be a comic coming in November.

Also, in season 2 (which starts later this week) there will be a Christmas special.

  • So I see a lot of negativity targeted at this show. I don't want to bring up the R&S/C&C comparison, but I imagine a lot of people that are saying these things about Uncle Grandpa would have a very similar response if they would see either of the above mentioned shows for the first time at their current age.The show is a trip, and I find it both funny and visually appealing. There's a general positivity and cheerfulness emanating from the main character, and his unpredictability just makes the show all the more enjoyable. Plus the show never seems to resort to just being crude for crudeness' sake, which is a huge plus.

So, as summarised above, just enjoy it for what it is and if you don't like it, then you don't but there's really nothing to get offended over.

  • There are lots of hate to this show, and probably for no reason. All the hate on Uncle Grandpa are basically from some people who grew up in the 1990's. Some people like it some people hate it, but I'm thinking that this show is going to be impossible to take off the air (not that I'm complaining.) Because Cartoon Network is in LOVE with this show. And I know why. Because why Cartoon Network loves this show is because they haven't had a show like this in a long time. It's because of the creativity, the stupid, and the weird in this show is probably because why Cartoon Network is giving Uncle Grandpa with lots of glory. Example: Uncle is know the Cartoon Network bumper when Cartoon Network comes one when Adult Swim is over and When Cartoon Network is over and Adult Swim is on, and Also they've already have a new cartoon block (which replaced Cartoon Planet) called, Pizza Night with Pizza Steve, which shows one of the "best cartoons on cartoon network." What else could they possibly do with Uncle Grandpa? The fans of the show Uncle Grandpa are either Kids,Cartoonists and some other people. But I think the real fans of this show are the cartoonist, or artist. Why THOSE people love it is because of the creativity and the weirdness in this show that its funny to them. Like for instants, Im a cartoonist and I find this show funny, and very creative, because if you look closely into this show, it's not very different from some other stupid cartoon shows. like Ren And Stimpy, Cow and Chicken, The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack, Chowder and so on and so on.

The Uncle Grandpa humor might not be funny today but it will be funny through out the seasons of Uncle Grandpa. Should this show be looked on differently from the other shows? No it shouldn't. Why I gave this show a 8/10 is because of the creativity, the weird (in a funny way) and the characters. This show isn't for everyone but this show does have some appeal to it.

  • I used to frown at UG and all his nonsense like most of you guys but then I figured out that i'm way to young to morph myself into an old reckless bigot moron, so i give it a try and the fist thing i noticed is that UG reminds me much of Ren & Stimpy, Cow and chicken and other nonsense old-time Cartoons i used to watch back then and it cracked me up hard. - I can say UG is way softer than R&S and cow and chicken - as that for of humour is somewhat outdated for today's children cartoons.

TLDR; UG is an awesome show but only if your mind is not helplessly squirming in a bubble of conformism and your own terror pee because the world dare do make a cartoon you don't agree with - of course.

  • When I first heard of this show that was coming to CN, I quickly disregarded it, and didn't give it a chance at first. Now don't get me wrong, I tend to be a very open minded person, but since Cartoon Network has been releasing out all these new shows every other week, it makes it hard to know which ones will be good and which ones are going to stink (,unless of course you have the much time to waste). Considering I'm not much of a TV person and more computer, I didn't really get around to sit down and watch it until my sister started watching it herself! Now when I first heard this, I thought it was absurd! "How could she like that show?" it was just interesting, so I finally broke down and decided to give it a watch since she seemed so impressed with it. One viewing later, I couldn't believe it, this show was oddly good! (Now onto the show review itself)Okay, this show is just plain weird, and when I say weird, I mean weird. You have Uncle Grandpa himself, an old man with rainbow suspenders and a talking fanny pack named Belly Bag, also he travels in an RV with his friends, Pizza Steve, Mr. Gus (,who I'm pretty sure is Godzilla), and Giant Realistic Flying Tiger who flies by shooting rainbows out her posterior. (Yeah, it's a girl e_o)O_O Woah, woah, woah, WOAH. SAY WHAT? That was my first reaction. It's like the producer(s) got high and then just came up with these in a forts night! But strangely enough, they are all unique and I love them each for their distinguishing personalities.

Now when it comes to shows or movies, I am not an extremely picky person, but this show blew me away. When it comes to having to sit down for at least 5 minutes, I tend to get shaky and can't watch the whole thing because I'm not entertained enough. But with this show, it keeps my attention until the very end. Which made me question, why? Well, it hails back to the 90s cartoon, Ren and Stimpy. That show was crazy, insane, and plain out great! Which probably explains why UG works so well with me. It's weird, I'm weird, it's a great pairing.

  • There aren't too many cartoons out there that are enjoyable for both adults and children, but I can now name three: Phineas and Ferb, Spongebob, and Uncle Grandpa. This show is ridiculously over-the-top in so many ways and I'm really not sure what the angle is. Is Uncle Grandpa mentally retarded? Is he just some dumb inbred redneck? I don't know, and I don't really care. It has me and my 7 year old laughing constantly. Uncle Grandpa isn't going to tickle everyone's funny bone, and I admittedly have an immature sense of humor, but this show is gold. So the next time you sit down and watch cartoons with your youngin', consider giving this a try. I guarantee you it's a lot more palatable than Johnny Test or Drake and Josh.

    Good mornin'

  • It's weird, bizarre and silly but my young son loves it. I think most bad reviews on here were expecting it to be an adult cartoon and were let down. I don't feel it deserves the bad reviews it's received but to each his own. It's a crazy cartoon and if your expecting main stream then don't even bother watching it. Truly original writing and great weird story lines. If you don't like thinking outside the box then you won't like it because they don't believe in boxes.

I do find it amusing but my son loves it! I've never hear him laugh as hard and often at anything else he has watched. Three thumbs up because I've enjoyed my sons laughter so much.

  • Sometimes you got to wonder how some of the recent shows on Cartoon Network get the green light. I myself got to wonder if they even look at the shows they're putting out on the air, or they're too busy figuring out more ways to further ruin the network. Case in point, Uncle Grandpa, a show about "everyone's uncle and grandpa" who has these weird adventures with his friends. Not only is the concept really unoriginal, but to make things worse, this show is made by the same idiot behind Secret Mountain Fort Awesome, Peter Browngardt. That's right, this same guy decided it would be such a GREAT idea to make a spin off based on that show. You know, at least with SMFA the concept was somewhat original, but take a bad premise and add in the same moron behind SMFA and you've got one really bad show.First off, our main character, Uncle Grandpa, has got to be the most annoying protagonist I've seen on TV since Marvin Marvin. He's not only a complete and utter moron, but he has got to have the most annoying voice I have ever heard. I swear my eardrums are ready to burst with how obnoxious, annoying, and sickening it sounds. I thought The Mighty B! had horrible voice acting, but this show makes The Mighty B!'s acting look as good as My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic's voice work. He also constantly says "Good morning", which is supposed to be a catchphrase. I guess nobody told the writers(Including Mr. Browngardt) that a catchphrase needs to be funny, memorable, and creative. NOT bland, forgettable, and stupid. Uncle Grandpa just makes you wish somebody would come along and put an end to him. Pizza Steve is a walking and talking pizza(I wish I was making that up) who is pretty much a stuck up jerk. He only looks out for himself and only himself all the time. He's not a friend in the least bit and he talks in the third person a lot.Belly Bag is a very useless character. He doesn't do anything at all, except for having a lot of things in his mouth. He serves no purpose whatsoever.Giant Magic Flying Tiger . . . all I can say really is what . . . the . . . *** is this? It's already bad enough the character's name is so terrible, but does it really have to be a cut out tiger from real life? This character has no animation whatsoever, no movement, and only speaks in roars. It can also fly by using rainbows it shoots out of its butt. Needless to say, this character is downright terrible.Mr. Gus is probably the only character in this show who doesn't make my blood boil, but that's not saying much. He's a dinosaur character who sounds really monotone and always has a bored expression on his face. The only reason I tolerate him though is because he's the only sane character in this show and doesn't act like an idiot like everyone else. The plots are no better at all in this show. Most of the time, they make absolutely no sense at all. Take for example this episode, Uncle Grandpa gets locked out of his creepy looking van, but then gets stuck in it. It results in Pizza Steve calling in Uncle Grandpa, who somehow comes to them, even though there's another Uncle Grandpa in the van. So they have to get him out by fighting the van's security system, which has six arms, and they do so. Just writing that bit of plot synopsis makes my brain hurt. Just what was going on? Why was there two Uncle Grandpa's? Why was everyone so nonchalant about it? My God, the randomness in this show is so terrible and baffling that I swear it took out a good chunk of my IQ.The hum- you know what? I'm not going to even say this show has any humor at all. Not a single joke in this show was funny at all. Every gag it pulls out is either trying way too hard or is so badly made, that you'll be hitting your head against the wall. The show emphasizes on so much randomness, that it comes off very annoying and irritating instead of it being funny. Nothing these characters do brought even a weak chuckle from me at all.The artwork and animation is probably the only decent thing I find somewhat positive. The coloring is not overblown like in SMFA and the sets look decent enough. However, the characters still have bad designs to them. Uncle Grandpa looks downright creepy and a pedophile with how scary he looks. He's unappealing to look at. Gus looks okay as well as Pizza Steve, but as I said earlier, Tiger looks horrible and out of place since it's a cut out tiger. The animation is somewhat better though, with characters moving pretty smoothly, although I saw some lip syncing issues. Some say this is similar to Ren and Stimpy, but that show had way better writing, better characters, and it its jokes weren't so dumbed like this show. This show is nothing like the beloved Ren and Stimpy at all, it's more of a mockery than anything else.

Mr. Browngardt needs to understand he's no cartoon creator. SMFA was a complete and total failure, so what made him honestly think a spin off would work? More importantly, why would Cartoon Network think this would be a good show? If you see one of the multiple promos for this show playing like I did, then consider it a warning to avoid watching CN at the time this show comes on. If Cartoon Network ever wonders why networks like Boomerang and the HUB Network are getting more viewers, they can look at this show as one of the many reasons why.
