What happens when you break an ender chest without silk touch

I got a pretty awesome trick on how to

destroy end portal frames now sadly this

can't be done in the very newest release

of Minecraft you have to do this in 1.1

1.1 and you can just revert back just to

do this trick and then revert back to

whatever version you like using the best

so just have to be on this version to

enable to do this trick find your end

portal frame obviously and get a little

setup like this with an extended regular

piston dragon egg on top with a redstone

torch into me for the block and a trail

now if you want to be able to use your

end portal after you destroy the frames

make sure that you have the pull

activated unlike I've got here so once I

destroy this obviously in a real

survival situation I will not be able to

activate recall after I've destroyed one

of the frames so after you've got this

What I mean is, if I have one and keep my diamonds in it, would my friend be able to build a chest somewhere else and take my diamonds out of it? Or do I have to open the chest to get them?

Ender Chests are a type of chest that can store items. They function the same as normal chests, except that their contents are shared across all other Ender Chests placed anywhere, even in different dimensions.Ender Chests do not drop their contents when broken. An empty Ender Chest can be a useful last resort if you get hopelessly trapped or lost while exploring. Place the chest, load your inventory into it, then kill yourself. 2) Silk touch can be used to harvest leaves

Like gamers are able to use shears to harvest leaves, they can use a tool such as a pickaxe enchanted with silk touch to harvest them as well. When gamers mine an ender chest with a normal pickaxe, it will drop eight obsidian but not the eye of ender. This can be mitigated by using silk touch on the ender chest.

Not only will this cause the chest to stay intact, but players will not be down an eye of ender for moving their chest. This is an excellent way for players to take an ender chest wherever they go.

Certain ores, like diamonds, look great when they are in the ore form. Players can use silk touch to break the ore blocks and keep them in their ore form.

They can then pick up these blocks and create walls out of them so that they can have an entire house or building made out of specific kinds of ore.

Gamers who want to be beekeepers can take an occupied bee nest or beehive and use a silk touch enchanted tool to break it.
