How to remove a world border in Minecraft

If you create a new world there's a button with "world type" or something like that above it. Just click on it there and then select infinite.

Unfortunately, retrospectively no longer works… Except maybe with mods but I'm not sure.

The world border is always present in a Minecraft world, even before the /worldborder command has been used. You can set it back to its default state (center 0,0 and width 60,000,000) by running: /worldborder center 0 0 /worldborder set 60000000. Share.

Traveling to 33.5 Million blocks away isn’t possible in the Java edition of Minecraft. And I meant a Java version that’s above 1.8. So is there a forge mod or something that adds an option to hide world border or lets be tweak an alpha channel for it or something, coz I know I could just remove the world border texture by giving it a blank texture but that would mean I can’t turn it on when i need it.
