Dell laptop caps lock light always on no display

Hi, If I understand the problem with your laptop, it does boot up just fine but the CAPS LOCK light is always on right? Have you tried turning off the CAPS LOCK key by pressing on CAPS LOCK? If pressing the CAPS LOCK key will not work that could mean it's the keyboard that is faulty. Do open Onscreen keyboard and try pressing on the CAPS LOCK key and see if that will work or not. Last option would be to perform System Restore and restore it to an earlier date or time when it was working properly. Last option would be to reset the laptop back to factory.
