If I was a businessman, I wouldn't mind having an uncomfortable chair in my office. If I was trying to squeeze a deal out of someone, having them sit in an uncomfortable chair could throw them off balance and swing the deal in my favour. My friends and I all have really bad backache after our first week at school and we suspect it to be the chairs. The chairs in our school are way too small for us [Year 9] because all chairs are the same from Year 5 to Year 1O. The chairs were the perfect size when we were in 5th grade, but now they are awful to sit in and our backs hurt after 1O minutes of sitting.
