How to redeem a robux code on roblox

If you received a gift of Robux or ROBLOX account credit, or maybe you bought it on your grocery shopping, you may be wondering how to use your gift card and upgrade your Avatar's appearance or use it towards a Premium subscription! 

Not to worry, we can help you redeem your gift card, and what you can do / use the gift cards for!

ROBLOX Gift Cards come in a selection of two. Firstly, there’s the Robux Gift Cards, which offer Robux directly into your account without issue. Then, there’s the ROBLOX Account Credit cards, which give you credit directly attached to your account which can be used to help towards a purchase of either ROBLOX Premium or an amount of Robux. Credit can be used either to pay in full or in part for a purchase. 

1. Login to ROBLOX as normal
2. Go to the Gift Redemption page
3. Enter the PIN on the Gift Card
4. Select redeem to add the credit or Robux to your account
5. A success message will appear to confirm the credit has been added

If you’re having trouble redeeming the credit, make sure that if your Gift Card PIN has a 1 (One) or 0 (Zero), to test uppercase letters O and I. 

Quick answer: you can’t. Gift Cards can only be redeemed in a browser, so if you are on these platforms, head to a PC, Tablet or Mobile device, access your preferred browser and head through the steps above like normal.

There’s no word on whether or not ROBLOX Gift Cards will be redeemable in the ROBLOX Apps for other platforms yet, but if they add that option, will we add to this guide!

If you, your child or someone you know received a ROBLOX Toy, there may be a promotional code which offers an exclusive virtual item only for those who have the toy. 

The Toy Codes are available to those who have purchased or received a Jazwares ROBLOX toy, or associated NERF and Monopoly ROBLOX items. 

For Jazware, a code can be found in front of the package or inside the plastic packaging. For NERF and Monopoly virtual code, there are card inserts which should look similar to the example below. 

You can also receive Virtual codes from other sources, such as Prime Gaming, which will usually be sent to your e-mail.

To redeem your Toy or Virtual Item Code, follow the instructions below:

1. If you have a physical card or insert, make sure that the covering is gently scratched off
2. Once you know your code, login to your ROBLOX account.
3. Head to the Toy Code Redemption Page
4. Enter the code and click redeem 
5. Check out your brand new virtual item in your inventory

Codes can only be used on an account once, so if you already own the virtual item, you can give it to someone you know!
