How to get to church of plague

Cant reach church of plague..

I got curious about pest threads by some idiot youtuber who claimed its very easy to get the spell.. efortless basically early in the game, yet i dont see how to even reach the church which is not even final thing to get the spell.

Players can upgrade their armors to protect themselves against damages and attacks. In the game, players can reach the Church of the Plague to find several items besides getting the Talisman from Milicent.

The Church of the Plague is located in Caelid. It is to the south-east from Sellia, Town of Sorcery in Caelid. Elden Ring takes place in the realm of the Lands Between and after the destruction of the titular Elden Ring and the scattering of its shards, the Great Runes. Once graced by the Ring and the Erdtree, which symbolizes its existence, the realm is ruled by the demigod offspring of Queen Marika the Eternal, each possessing a shard of the Ring that corrupts and tarnishes them with power. As Tarnished ousters from the Lands Between who lost the Ring's grace and are summoned back after the Shattering, players must cross the realm to find all the Great Runes, restore the Elden Ring, and become the Elden Lord.

Where To Find Elden Ring Church Of The Plague?

The Church of the Plague is a major landmark in the Calid region because there players find Milicent, a female NPC. Unless the players explore Sellia, the church can be accessed via the northern path. Players need to go around Sellia to get to the church and deal with the two guards at the entrance. After getting inside the Church, players can get all the Sacramental Buds inside the ruins. These are required to craft Preserving Boluses and Bewitching Branches. Now activate the Site of Grace and scout the graveyard outside if needed.

At the Church of the Plague, players can find the Sacred Tear in front of the Statue of Marika. Sacred Tear is a Consumable Item in Elden Ring. They are special items that allow the user to upgrade the Crimson and Cerulean Flask Potency to +12.

How To Reach Church Of the Plague in less than a minute from Eldenring

Elden Ring Church Of The Plague Location – Where To Find

As you explore Caelid in the video game developed by FromSoftware, you’ll come across the Church Of The Plague on the area’s eastern side.

You can see the Church Of The Plague location on my map below. This church oversees Sellia, Town of Sorcery.

It is also worth mentioning that unless you explore Sellia, this church can be accessed via the northern path because of a magical barrier you won’t be able to cross early in the game.

So, go around Sellia to get to the church, then deal with the two guards by the entrance.

Get all the Sacramental Buds inside the ruins upon getting inside the church. These are required to craft Preserving Boluses and Bewitching Branches.

Now, you’ll want to get the Sacred Tear in front of the Church Of The Plagues statue below.

Finally, activate the Site of Grace nearby and scout the graveyard outside if needed.

Elden Ring Church Of The Plague Girl – How To Help Milicent

The girl in question goes by the name of Milicent, and she is an essential NPC you’ll meet later in the game.

You can see her below, and if you approach her, she won’t say much except that she’s sick, being infested with rot.

Now, you can obviously kill her, but this would be an extremely poor choice because you’ll miss her questline.

The problem here is that you have to figure out how to help Milicent, and depending on how much of Caelid you have explored, this can be tricky.

Therefore talk to her, then find Gowry’s Shack southwest of the Church Of The Plague.

Without spoiling the game, to save Milicent in The Church Of The Plague, you have to play and finish Gowry’s quest explained in-depth in this guide.

However, you have to be aware that this quest doesn’t end when you save Milicent and receive the Prosthesis-Wearer Heirloom Talisman from her.

There are additional steps you can follow that will lead to Gowry’s shop items, all of them outlined here.

Last but not least, after you save Milicent in Elden Ring, you’ll start her questline, which spreads all over the northern area, starting with the Erdtree-Gazing Hill Site of Grace in the Altus Plateau region.
