The Italian boss will be determined to get one over his former employers and fire his own squad firmly into the elite mix at the top of the table for 2022/23. With the NFL's Hall of Fame Game in our rearview, the focus shifts to Week 1 of the NFL preseason, complete with 16 games and a number of intriguing matchups. After a busy offseason, Week 1 of the preseason gives fans the opportunity to see high-profile rookies take an NFL field for the first time, while a number of familiar faces will take the field in new places. On Thursday, Aug. 11, Giants fans will get their first look at first-round picks Kayvon Thibodeaux and Evan Neal when the team travels to Foxborough to take on the Patriots. Less than 24 hours later, Lions fans will get to see Aidan Hutchinson against a rebuilding Falcons team, while the Jets' duo of top-10 picks, Ahmad "Sauce" Gardner and Garrett Wilson, will be in Philadelphia to face the Eagles. As for new faces, there is plenty to watch for on Saturday, Aug. 13. Carson Wentz and the Commanders will host Baker Mayfield and the Panthers to begin a packed day that also includes Matt Ryan's Colts visiting the Bills and facing a defense that now features Von Miller. Saturday's action winds down with the Cowboys riding into Broncos Country to face Russell Wilson, while the Chargers and Rams will meet in a Battle for LA.
