I got a pretty awesome trick on how to
destroy end portal frames now sadly this
can't be done in the very newest release
of Minecraft you have to do this in 1.1
1.1 and you can just revert back just to
do this trick and then revert back to
whatever version you like using the best
so just have to be on this version to
enable to do this trick find your end
portal frame obviously and get a little
setup like this with an extended regular
piston dragon egg on top with a redstone
torch into me for the block and a trail
now if you want to be able to use your
end portal after you destroy the frames
make sure that you have the pull
activated unlike I've got here so once I
destroy this obviously in a real
survival situation I will not be able to
activate recall after I've destroyed one
of the frames so after you've got this

What I mean is, if I have one and keep my diamonds in it, would my friend be able to build a chest somewhere else and take my diamonds out of it? Or do I have to open the chest to get them? |
To quote the wiki... Ender Chests are a type of chest that can store items. They function the same as normal chests, except that their contents are shared across all other Ender Chests placed anywhere, even in different dimensions.Ender Chests do not drop their contents when broken. Items placed inside will remain present even if all instances of them are destroyed, and can be accessed by placing a new Ender Chest. Ender Chests have half the blast resistance of obsidian, making them still immune to explosions. They also emit light and a particle effect similar to that of an Enderman and Nether Portal. In SMP, Ender Chests have a separate inventory for each player. Destroying one will only drop 8 obsidian (unless broken using a pickaxe enchanted with Silk Touch), meaning another Eye of Ender would be required to be crafted again.Ender Chests cannot be made into double chests and thus can be placed adjacent to each other normally.Since items are persistent even when all Ender Chests are broken, the player can use them to recover items from anywhere safely, even if they destroy the chest.Ender Chests can be very useful in Survival or Hardcore if the player is able to obtain the resources required to make one. At the cost of one inventory slot for the chest, the player gains another 27 extra slots, for a net gain of 26, adding up to a total inventory space of 62 different stacks you can carry.Alternatively, they can be used for bulk supplies. This allows you to have your stockpiles of rare items (diamond and emerald blocks, Blaze Rods and other brewing supplies, etc.) available at every major base. Not to mention stacks of iron and gold blocks, and other sundries. Note that a stack each of flint and feathers costs 2 slots, but with just 8 logs, they will make 4 stacks of arrows. Similarly, including eggs, saplings, various seeds, and even building supplies, will make it much easier to start up new bases. They can be placed at each station of a railway — toss in a minecart, and you'll always have a minecart handy. (Optionally, Powered and Storage minecarts as well.)If placed in a new cave or mine, they can safely stash ores or valuables as those are acquired.Broken Ender Chests drop 8 obsidian, losing the Eye of Ender. There are 3 methods to continue using chests.Bring a Silk Touch pickaxe when mining (or stash one in the chest), and break the chest with it. This will drop the broken ender chest as an item.If you bring multiple Ender Chests, you can place and break each of them, and if you bring 8 or fewer, inventory space is not wasted, as one inventory slot will be 64 or fewer obsidian.Place some Eyes of Ender and a crafting table in the Ender Chest. This will allow you to easily retrieve those items before breaking it and crafting another Ender Chest.Similar to obsidian and chests, Ender Chests cannot be moved by pistons.Ender chests work between dimensions. This can be useful for carrying large inventories or valuables to or from the Nether or the End.In SMP Ender Chests can be used as banks or "safe deposit boxes". Placed in towns and bases, they'll allow players to get at their stuff without risk of theft, "mugging", or griefing. They are commonly placed in spawn points. "You keep a stun gun in the birdhouse? What's under the garden gnome, an M-80?" |
The only information you asked for TC, EddMario posted... Ender Chests have a separate inventory for each player. |

Silk touch is a wonderful enchantment in Minecraft that helps users make the blocks they harvest drop themselves instead of components. This is useful because gamers can gather items that they normally wouldn't be able to get without silk touch, such as grass and clay blocks.
Five surprising things about silk touch in Minecraft
Users can obtain silk touch either from purchasing a book from a librarian, finding a book enchanted with silk touch, or from an enchanting table. The easiest method is using a librarian villager to obtain one.
They simply need to place a lectern and trade with the villager. If it does not have the enchantment they want, gamers can break the lectern and place it down again to try the trade once more.
1) Players can use silk touch to mine glowstone
Those looking for an easy way to mine glowstone for using it as a source of light should look to use silk touch to help them harvest it. Instead of breaking the glowstone into glowstone dust, the block will drop itself, and players can pick it up to use it how they see fit.
2) Silk touch can be used to harvest leaves
Like gamers are able to use shears to harvest leaves, they can use a tool such as a pickaxe enchanted with silk touch to harvest them as well. Making the tool a true jack of all trades, players can easily and quickly chew through leaves, clearing out trees and stocking up on leaves to use them for other building components.
3) Players can use silk touch to collect ender chests
When gamers mine an ender chest with a normal pickaxe, it will drop eight obsidian but not the eye of ender. This can be mitigated by using silk touch on the ender chest.
Not only will this cause the chest to stay intact, but players will not be down an eye of ender for moving their chest. This is an excellent way for players to take an ender chest wherever they go.
4) Users can create unique walls of certain blocks
Certain ores, like diamonds, look great when they are in the ore form. Players can use silk touch to break the ore blocks and keep them in their ore form.
They can then pick up these blocks and create walls out of them so that they can have an entire house or building made out of specific kinds of ore.
5) Moving occupied beehives
Gamers who want to be beekeepers can take an occupied bee nest or beehive and use a silk touch enchanted tool to break it. If the bee nest or beehive is occupied, it can continue to house 1-3 bees so that players can move it to a new, more desired location to place the nest down to continue honey production.
This is a good way for users to manage a honey farm.
