Moin, ich schreib morgen eine Klassenarbeit und wir haben gesagt bekommen dass Summary und Analysis drankommen. Eine Summary ist ja quasi einfach nur eine Zusammenfassung. Wir haben eine Beispiel Summary und eine Beispiel Analysis von unserer Lehrerin bekommen und die sehen für mich irgendwie relativ gleich aus. Ein kleiner Unterschied vom Schreibstil her ist zwar schon zu erkennen aber im großen und ganzen sehen beide für mich einfach wie Zusammenfassungen vom Text aus. Im Internet finde ich unter Analysis immer nur eine wirkliche Analyse wie eine Gedichtsanalyse in Deutsch also Sprache untersuchen etc. Das ist auch auf einem Handout drauf was unsere Lehrerin uns gegeben hat aber in der Beispiel Analysis ist das eben nicht drin sondern nur eine Zusammenfassung. Und wir haben diese "Gedichtsanalyse" mit Texten im Unterricht auch noch nicht gemacht. Was genau ist jetzt eine Analyse? Gibt es da mehrere Arten von Analysen? Summary ist ne Zusammenfassung wie du gesagt hast, mit Zeilenangaben und Einleitung. In der Analyse suchst du, bei fiktionalen Texten zumindest, die Mittel die der Autor verwendet hat um ein bestimmtes Thema rüberzubringen, das müsste in der Aufgabenstellung stehen. Also z.B "analyse the means used to convey ...." Dazu gehören auch Sprache, Stilmittel, Satzbau etc. mit Belegen am Text. Innere/äußere Handlung usw.
Natürlich gibt es mehrere Arten von Analysen wie z.B die Gedichtsanalyse wie du gesagt hast, aber das gleiche wird trotzdem untersucht. Außer beim gedicht natürlich noch Metrum, reimschema usw.
Die Frage ist was genau das thema ist.

As you can see, analysis and analyses refer to the same thing, but analyses is the plural form of the word.

Analyse is primarily used in UK language, whereas Analyze is used in US English. The terms themselves are the same. In both instances, the words mean the same, i.e. to “examine (something) methodically and in detail, typically in order to explain and interpret it.”
