Back in its infancy, the App Store was filled with text bomb apps that allowed users to send a barrage of text messages to friends, family, and foes. It was a fun way to annoy people, but Apple quickly scrubbed the apps because of technical issues. Although text bombs are still banished, you can now use a Siri Shortcut to send text bombs through iMessage on your iPhone.

Redditor u/DreadTheFire has created a shortcut that lets you automatically send someone The Bee Movie script, line-by-line, through iMessage. We'll show you how to add this shortcut to your device, and also how to configure it so you can send any text you want, not just the Bee Movie script.

Start by downloading the Bee Movie Spam Shortcut on your iPhone. The iCloud download is free, but you do need to be running iOS 12 or higher for the Shortcut to work. Tap the link below from your iPhone, then tap "Get Shortcut" to add it to your Shortcuts library.

Now that Bee Movie Spam is on your device, open the Shortcuts app, head to the My Shortcuts tab, and tap on the "Bee Movie Spam" shortcut. Your contact list will appear; select someone to spam with the Bee Movie script.

Note: Not all contacts will work with this shortcut. If they use regular text messages only (no iMessage), the Bee Movie Spam shortcut will not work. You'll receive a message that says "Invalid Recipients."

As soon as you select a contact, the Bee Movie Spam shortcut will go to work, spewing each line of the Bee Movie script one-by-one until completion. Below, you can see the text messages being automatically sent to my contact.

The shortcut will continue working in the background until it's done. If you want to stop it, go into the Shortcuts app and tap on the "Bee Movie Spam" shortcut.

While sending the entire Bee Movie script is funny, you might want to text bomb your friends with something else. Luckily, you can easily edit the Shortcut to say anything you want. Start by opening the Shortcuts app, then tap on the three dots in the top-right of the Bee Movie Spam shortcut to view more details.

Scroll down until you get to "Text." Now, delete the Bee Movie script text and enter any text you want. Each sentence is one text message, so add a period to create a new one. As you can see below, I replaced the script with hundreds of "hey" messages, all separated by periods. Hit "Done" in the top-right when you're finished.

Now tap on the Bee Movie Spam shortcut in your library, select a contact, and the shortcut will automatically send your revised text bomb. To stop the shortcut, go into the Shortcuts app and tap on the Bee Movie Spam shortcut.
