How to open Regigigas door in Legends Arceus

Pokémon Legends Arceus allows its players the chance to catch a wide variety of Pokémon, including the normal-type legendary Regigigas. With that said, and to make sure that you can add Regigigas to your squad as fast as possible, we will now tell you where to find and how to catch Regigigas in the newly released Pokémon Legends Arceus.

Where to Catch Regigigas in Pokémon Legends Arceus

You can catch Regigigas in Snowpoint Temple, located in Alabaster Iceland’s, but in order to get access to them, you first need to complete the main story of Pokémon Legends Arceus. Once you do that, head to the headquarters of the corps, where you will be able to trigger the ”The Researcher of Myths” mission. After doing that, you just need to follow the quest until you meet Cogita. When talking to her, you must then click on the ”The temple giant” option, which will then trigger the mission, ”The Plate of Snowpoint Temple”. After triggering the mission, just head to Snowpoint Temple. Upon entering the temple, you will be able to open the great door leading to Regigigas after getting the Icicle Plate, the Stone Plate, and the Steel Plate. Once the door opens, just head inside and follow the path until you spot the Pokémon, then battle, and capture Regigigas.

To recap, here’s what you need to do to unlock and catch Regigigas in the newly released Pokémon Legends Arceus:

  • Complete the game’s main story.
  • Trigger the ”The Researcher of Myths” mission.
  • Trigger the mission, ”The Plate of Snowpoint Temple”.
  • Open the great door.
  • Follow the path.
  • Battle and capture Regigigas.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus doesn’t offer the same amount of puzzles as a more traditional Pokémon game — there’re no sliding rocks to worry about here. But there is some light puzzle solving required toward the end of the game in Snowpoint Temple, found in the Alabaster Iceland.

During “The Slumber Lord of the Tundra” mission, you’ll need to chase down Sabi so she’ll allow you to ride the Hisuian Braviary. Once you chase her around the Tundra for a bit, she’ll head into Snowpoint Temple, which is devoted to Regice, Registeel, Regirock, and Regigigas.

Inside Snowpoint Temple, you’ll need to follow a collection of statues with elements on their chest and determine the correct order for a code. In this Pokémon Legends: Arceus Snowpoint Temple guide, we’ll help you solve the Snowpoint Temple puzzle and give you the solution so you can proceed through the story.

Snowpoint Temple puzzle 1

The first puzzle is simple and primarily exists to teach you how to find the solution in the following rooms.

You’ll find yourself in a large room, and at the end is a large door that’s locked. To unlock the door, you’ll need to input a special code: the words ice, rock, and steel in a specific order.

To find the code, inspect the three statues around the room. Starting with the one that doesn’t have any other statues pointing to it, inspect it and write down or memorize the symbol on its chest. Then follow the statue’s gaze (it also has an arrow pointing from it, to make it super easy) to the next statue, and write down its code. Finally, follow the second statue to the third and write down its code.

Inspect the door and input the code: Rock > Steel > Ice.

The door will open and you can move forward.

Snowpoint Temple puzzle 2

You’ll be following the same rules for the second puzzle. The only major difference is that some of the statues will look through windows in the walls to try and trick you.

Follow the statues in the correct order, and you’ll get the code: Ice > Rock > Steel > Rock > Ice.

Snowpoint Temple puzzle 3

The final room is the biggest and the trickiest. You won’t start with the first statue you see. Instead, find the one quarantined off in its own little room. Once you find your starting statue, follow the arrows one more time.

Once you reach the door, you should have your final code: Steel > Ice > Rock > Ice > Steel > Rock.

After you open the final door, you can head up the stairs to meet with Sabi and continue the main story quest.
