To construct a right-angled ΔABC, where ∠C = 90°, AC = 6 cm, and CA = 6 cm, draw a rough sketch for your reference and mark the measures.
Remember to mark the right angle and follow the steps given below.
Steps of construction:
- Draw a line segment AC of length 6 cm.
- At C, draw CX perpendicular AC.
- With C as the center, draw an arc of radius 6 cm which should intersect CX at point B.
- Join B and A.
- ΔABC is the required isosceles right-angle triangle.
